This new single-family house project in Sitges was born from a precise study of the terrain, the light and the landscape. As an architectural firm, our goal was to generate a contemporary architecture capable of integrating into the topography and, at the same time, offer an open and luminous domestic experience.
The house is articulated by means of a cantilevered main volume that generates shade, solar protection and a large porch on the first floor. This strategy maximizes energy efficiency, reduces the direct incidence of the sun in summer and improves indoor comfort throughout the year.
The first floor brings together the most social spaces: open kitchen, large dining room and living room that extend to the terrace and pool through panoramic enclosures. The large format carpentry allows a total opening that multiplies the usable space and creates a direct connection with the garden.
On the upper floor, the bedrooms are oriented towards the best views, protected by the structural cantilever. The master bedroom enjoys a fully glazed façade that brings the landscape into the space, reinforcing the feeling of spaciousness.
The interior combines natural materials and warm tones with a clean and elegant design. Wood, stone, integrated lighting and sober furniture build a relaxed atmosphere that accompanies the architecture without competing with it.
The inclined geometry of the façade is not just a formal gesture: it optimizes sunlight, improves energy efficiency and protects the interior spaces, turning architecture into a tool for comfort.
